Pascal Fauvet became passionate about photography at a very young age and then specialized in architecture and design. His series of photos are a great success, he exhibits in art galleries in Paris and Brussels. For some of them, her artistic approach combined with her sensitivity to design offers an original aesthetic, as for example in the series "caricatured image".
Since the early 1990s, he has lived in Provence, in the hinterland of Var. He set up his workshop in the village's old oil mill. Touching everything, every technique, every material is a pretext for creation: photography, video without forgetting sculpture and design.
Whether photographic or sculptural, Pascal Fauvet proposes works that modify the perception of our environment. "Everyday life blinds us, contemplation is a way to awaken our consciousness," he says. Behind each work, he wishes to stimulate our consciousness. The aesthetics of his works are based on a precise balance of nuances and spaces and on a dynamism that corresponds to the artist's living and committed personality.
