Flower Bomber inspired by Banksy in graffiti resin, unique piece, "Rage, the flower thrower". An ode to peace in the face of omnipresent violence, this work by Banksy questions the capacity of our society to respond to incomprehensible human behaviour. Unique and original work signed by the painter Patrick Cornée, delivered with invoice and certificate of authenticity. The sculpture is varnished for a better protection of the work. My influences are multiple and innumerable, because each day, my imagination is enriched by all the images that I visualize, in magazines, media, television .... I am sensitive to the work of Andy Warhol and Banksy

Whether it be a sculpture or painting, Patrick Cornée revisits Pop Art, using Andy Warhol as a major inspiration. He multiplies techniques and formats to develop his own style, his own very colourful vision.

A strict education far from the Fine Arts

Born in 1962 in Toulouse, painter Patrick Cornée, lives and works in Mougins. At the age of 16, pushed by his military father, Patrick Cornée joined the French Navy. After six years of sailing around the world, his desire to paint resurfaced and became clear to him. He then enrolled in the Beaux-Arts of Toulon and took classes in a painter’s studio. He then developed his own style and began to work with national and international galleries.

Patrick Cornée's work has earned him numerous exhibitions in France, in Mougins and Saint-Tropez, but also abroad, in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Russia, Sweden and England.

Pop Art from the 1960s as a source of inspiration

Inspired by such artists as Andy Warhol, Patrick Cornée is known nowadays for his colourful and vivid pop aesthetic. Through his pieces, he wishes to convey a sense of joy, gaiety and carefreeness, and share his love of life. He likes to explore new media, formats and techniques, and handles oil as well as acrylic, spray paint, palette knife, brush, engraving or collage.
