"This sculpture is the result of an original approach: I go to the countryside with my sculptor's tools, I let my imagination be inspired by the stones present in the landscape and the atmosphere of the place.
And an image emerges from this encounter. For this piece, Pudeur, I was in an isolated and wild cove on the Mediterranean coast, at the foot of a white limestone cliff.
Then, the white limestone became velvety skin shining in the sun, and in this salty environment, the image of this bather delicately covering her shoulder appeared." Etienne Eczet
