Anne Noël discovered clay and modeling in 1996. Her first years were devoted to figurative animal sculpture, inspired by the great animal sculptors of the 19th century.
In her animal sculptures, the artist seeks to combine precision of details and realism while preserving the simplicity of lines.
Today, fascinated by the human body and anatomy, Anne Noël models faces, busts and bodies combining anatomical precision and originality of posture, attitude and scene. Her unfailing complicity with clay offers her the possibility to satisfy her desire to create, which fascinates her so much. Tame the clay, shape a look, a hand, a foot.
A self-taught sculptor, her favourite materials are clay, plaster and wax.
The final proofs of her sculptures are mainly made of clay, bronze or patinated plaster.
