The soul of the forest, sinuous between the barrels, rising, brushing against the bark with warm raku reflections, swirling in the groves, mixing its arabesques with those of the jay, deposited resin fragrances at the exquisite bar of the poor guys.

Jean-Pierre Gerome was born in 1950 in Lyon. He started sculpting in his father’s studio as a child and then became a professional sculptor in 1982.

After having worked and experimented with many materials (wood, pewter, earth, stone, plexiglass, assemblies, plaster etc...),  he decided to focus on wood. His work is based on the unconscious, the waking dream, poetry, nature, and the myths of creation from around the world.
