Born in Brittany in 1970, Gaël Rouxeville began painting and drawing from a very young age. This visual artist reveals a work driven by the energy of movement that brings his sculptures to life.
A know-how enriched by a varied background
Before turning to sculpture in 1998, Gaël Rouxeville studied mechanical engineering and industrial design. Already passionate about wood, his activity as a sculptor, coupled with an eco-responsible approach has gradually led him to cabinet making. It is enriched by his new knowledge that allows him to create sculpture.
Energy through the movement of curves
Movement is a central element of Gaël Rouxeville's Work. His style is based on the "living curve". He interprets abstraction in his own way, the dance or the silhouette of animals. Inspired by the dynamism of the forms, the artist presents sinuous works, between reality and dream.
