An architect by training (Chile), Oriana is passionate about the architecture of nature and seeks to raise our awareness and denounce all these human disasters that are destroying our beautiful planet. Oriana Fierro's work reflects her story, which she describes as "magical". Traveller, a bit nomadic, in osmosis with nature, she draws from her Chilean origins, this extra soul.

The poetry of her work transports us into her romantic universe inspired by nature. It was at the end of a walk in the forest that she had her first click when she found a barrel circle, which she decided to recycle, and to give life to it. She welcomes it as a sign: the circle is a symbol of femininity. It refers to the roundness and softness of the mother's womb, which she appropriates as a refuge.

This filiation naturally finds meaning in its production, which is often worked around the bird and the nest to symbolize a mother's fertility, protection and complicity towards her children; a kind of Japanese landscape. The materials she works with are wood, plaster, porcelain recovered and then fragmented, terracotta, recycled steel...

All these noble materials, in relation to nature, are eco-responsible. The blue line, in her latest series of "Iceberg" paintings, is a symbol of the blue blood that flowed when the yamanas - her "Aristocrats" she says - were massacred by the settlers when they arrived at the conquest of Patagonia. In the same way, icebergs shed their blue blood - their last massacred by man, the colonist of our planet.
