Vers l'infini is one of the artist's latest creations, in an aerial vein. Here, flight is evoked in a stylized way, at the extreme limit of abstraction. It is found somewhere in the title, which evokes an impossible journey or a journey without return; perhaps simply that of life? This work is nevertheless of a great lightness. It gives us a sense of freedom, both in the subject matter and the way it is treated. And we are surprised to discover that it is made entirely of wood, lacquered and patinated in such a way as to create an unknown material, which adds to its mystery ...

The aerial part is fixed on the base. The base measures 35 x 7 cm
