"The Great Wave of Kanagawa" was created by Hokusai between 1820 and 1831 is undoubtedly the most famous Japanese print in the entirety of art history. This work, and more broadly the artistic style of Hokusai, have clearly inspired masters such as Van Gogh, Monet and Klimt.
